I think us human are too technologically dependant because we always use technology even if we don't need it. For example, when the new Ipad came out, everybody was eager to buy it. That goes for a lot of other gadgets such the Iphone, the Ipod, etc. Another technology we are dependant to is automatic technology. For example, at public restrooms, their sinks are automatic. Another example is that they are automatic doors. These example don't only show that we are dependant. It also shows that us humans can also be lazy. We are also very eager to buy the newest video games or buy the newest video game system.
We humans also rely on technology. For example, we rely on an alarm to wake us up every morning. Another example is that we rely on the computer to do school projects. With using the computer, less people go to the library to get books for research. We also rely on our cell phones to know the time, to wake us up and to call or text others. Another example is that we rely on the television for weather, news and much more.
As we live in the 21st century, we need technology to survive. We need telephones to communicate with others. By using the telephone to communicate we learn important news. Also by using the telephone, we can communicate with family and friends from different countries. We can inform others about events as well. Another example is that we need the computer because we need the computer to find information for projects. With the computer we can also communicate with others very fast. By communicating very fast we can inform others about important events. Another technology we need is the cellphone. By having a cellphone we can call people on the go. Also if we are in danger, we can use out cellphone to call for help.
They are also some technology we abuse. For example, we abuse the computer by using it way to much. Some people use the computer for then 6 hours a day, which is not healthy. They use it for almost everything which is terrible for themself and the environment. Another example, is that some people abuse the cellphone. They abuse it by either texting or calling others for no reason at all. People also abuse the television. They watch television even if they are not interested to the program. This is also very bad for the eyesight.
Therefore, us humans should understand the convinients and inconvinients of technology and use it only if you have to and not if you're bored.

Mrs.T - Tokyo
My restaurant in Krakatoa is called "T's Traditional Dining" which cooks dishes inspired by Japan's capital, Tokyo. This restaurant isn't very big but it is very cozy. You enter this restaurant by entering a sliding door which leads you into a Japanese styled restaurant. The walls are made of a light shaded color of brown wood. They are about eighty short-legged tables used in this traditional restaurant. People will be seated on a zabuton which is a Japanese cushion for sitting. They are also a few bar stools in front of a long counter. They are more than a dozen of paper lanterns hung inside the restaurant of various shapes and sizes.
For breakfast we will be serving a traditional Japanese breakfast formed of steamed rice, miso soup and various side dishes. We will be serving steamed rice in a small bowl but very well balanced. We cook steamed rice by placing a pot containing dry rice into a food steamer. Miso soup is a type of Japanese soup which is made of soybean paste, salt, water, vegetables and broth. We will be serving this in a small bowl with a soup spoon which is a large and round spoon. For the side dishes, we will be serving tamagoyaki which is a Japanese omelet made of several layers of cooked egg. Another side dish is nori which is edible seaweed. We will be serving two square pieces per person. The final side dish for breakfast is tsukemono which is Japanese pickles. The total cost of breakfast is three baseball-sized diamonds.
For lunch we will be serving Japanese curry with rice, sushi with a side dish of takoyaki and for dessert, taiyaki. As for the beverage you have the choice of either green tea or a soft drink. Japanese curry with rice is a very simple dish which is very delicious. We usually add some vegetables to give more taste, such as onions, carrots and much more. As for the meat of the curry we use pork, chicken or beef. This dish will be served with a spoon to mix it up. Sushi is a Japanese dish which is made of rice and other ingredients such as fish. We will be serving three different types of sushi, Inarizushi which is fried tofu filled with rice, Nigirizushi which is rice with salmon, tuna or other seafood and Narezushi which is fish stuffed with salt. For the side dish we will be serving takoyaki which is a ball-shaped Japanese dumpling filled with octopus and green onions. Takoyaki is usually topped with takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise. As for the dessert we will be serving taiyaki which is a fish-shaped cake which is filled with red bean paste, chocolate, cheese or custard. For the beverages we serve green tea which is made of herbs and water. We also serve two different types of Japanese soft drinks such as Mitsuya Cider which taste like a mixture between Sprite and Ginger Ale. Another soft drink we serve is C.C Lemon which flavor is lemon. The total cost of lunch is six golf ball-sized diamonds.
For dinner we will be serving tonkatsu with steamed rice, with a side dish of motoyaki and namasu. For dessert we will be serving mitsumame. As for the beverage we'll be serving Aojiru, Sakurayu and Jurokucha. Tonkatsu is fried pork cutlet which will be served with rice and cabbage. This will be served on a round plate with a pair of chopsticks. Tonkatsu is usually dipped in egg to give it more taste. Tonkatsu is this restaurant's main dish since we prepare it very well. This dish will be served with a side dish of motoyaki which is baked food served with mayonnaise sauce in an oyster. Mayonnaise is the most used sauce at our restaurant since we've been making it since we started this restaurant. Another side dish we will be serving is namasu which is a salad made with uncooked vegetables and seafood. The topping of this salad is rice vinegar. As for the dessert we will be serving is mitsumame which is a dessert made of jelly which is made with juice such as apple juice or any other fruit juice. We later add a couple of fruits such as pineaples, cherries and peaches. For the beverages we will be serving Aojiru which is a vegetable drink which is made of plants. Another beverage we will serve is Sakurayu which is cherry blossom tea. This tea is served with a little cherry blossom flower to add elegance. The last beverage we will be serving is Jurokucha which is cold tea which is blended with sixteen different teas. The different flavors are from fruits, leaves and grains. The total cost of dinner is five tennis ball-sized diamonds.
We hope you enjoy your meal and your stay at "T's Traditional Dining". We hope to see you again soon.
